OLIVIA DRESS PATTERN

$ 31.90

Description

A paper printed sewing pattern from Threads by Caroline. Olivia is an adorable dress perfect for twirling thanks to the circle skirt. The button-up back is a beautiful detail. If one does not like to sew buttonholes, snap buttons are just as good. Olivia also includes a tunic version. In addition to the button placket that extends all the way down the back, the tunic can also be sewn with cute pockets on the front. Olivia is a great pattern for all seasons thanks to short, three quarter and long sleeves. The pattern also provides you with the option to sew the back skirt piece somewhat longer than the front, or the same length. Sizes: 56-146 (approx. 1 month-11 years).
Level of difficulty: 2/3 (confident beginner). Techniques: sewing buttons and buttonholes (or snap buttons), and sewing a neckline facing. If either of these are new for you, don’t worry, it is not too difficult and it’s explained thoroughly in the instructions booklet.
Fabric: Knit, such as jersey. Materials: stretch interfacing, non-stretch interfacing, buttons.
Note! You don’t need an overlocker/serger to make this garment, but you can use one for most of it. A regular sewing machine is also great.
